Departed Soul…

You are my dream
But don’t become a dream
Time place or wherever
I’ll love you forever

I have become old and grim
when all the colors of life have become so dim
these colors will wash away with a painful shower
you’ll try to find me,
but I’ll be gone with the wind, like withered petals of a flower

Failing to hide the love and fears
I turned and never looked back
But a drop came out from the ocean of tears

Fortune, fame and new people came
Days turned to weeks, months and years
Glancing at the past, blames were same

Busy life, ignored messages
Come back, hug and say good-bye
No time to read long passages

Time never last
Childhood, youth and old age
All go away very fast
I wanted to live till my death
Your absence killed me before death

From one world to another it was a shift
Silent, painless and swift
Death was a bliss
Waited for love to return, and then die
After last touch and a farewell kiss

They looked at a missing tomb stone in despair
Blowing wind whispered in ear
Regrets ruin lives and pinch soul forever
Roaring waves of dried tear oceans
make nights sleepless forever

In loving memory of my father, Muhammad Azam Bhatti

You are my dream
But don’t become a dream
Time place or wherever
I’ll love you forever
