Mortal or Immortal
It’s true I am mortal
BUT
My dreams and feelings are immortal
Life was like a flickering candle in a dark stormy night
It’s wick burnt all night but lasted till Dawn
Sacrificing self , quietly spreading hope and light
Brave, confident, disciplined, admired with cheers
Mission accomplished by hiding worries and fears
What is death I often ask?
Dark, cold, black scary mask
Who believes death would make me perish?
I am a spring of unconditional love
Would join eternal oceans of the ones I cherish
I would come quietly in your world and pass by
Asking to spend every day as last day of life
Bringing inner peace, happiness, love and joy
As early morning breeze fresh and cold
Forget, forgive, be positive and bold
You would not feel, see or hear from me ever
But, when you ll look with your heart
I’ll always be there for you forever
It’s only the heart through one can see the right thing
Have faith, submission and surrender
It’s true I am mortal
BUT
My dreams and feelings are immortal
